This April, we are walking collectively in the name of education and we want you to join us. We are asking our generous supporters from all over the world to lace up their joggers and get walking so we can raise enough funds to provide education to 20 children for a year.
Every day, our grassroots community centre sees over 220 children come through our doors to take part in English, Khmer (native language), preschool, art and library programs. In order to support these and more children to achieve their dreams and ambitions, we need to continue raising funds.
By joining our challenge you will not only get fit but help these children achieve their goals through education, ultimately breaking the cycle of poverty that has plagued their families for generations.
We are aiming to clock around 9,572,640 steps, the distance from Sydney to Siem Reap, Cambodia, in honour of the future doctors, teachers, and a large majority of children who are only dreaming of the opportunity to be able to study in secondary school; something which only 45% of Cambodians do.
So, get your step counter ready, tie up those laces and head on over to our registration page so we can Walk to Cambodia this April and raise funds to alleviate poverty through education!
